San Francisco

Armed with a list of places to eat which was a roughly comparable length to Lord of the Rings, we crossed off 24 in 6 days. If you've started to do the math then I should also mention we visited some more than once. On balance, satisfaction wins out over embarrassment. As far as food cities go, SF may be the one to rule them all - though your booking strategy will need to be super tight unless you love waiting in line and/or disappointment.
